Open Source Contributions

As a software developer, I significantly contributed to the progression of Electrify Chicago, a prominent open-source software project initiated at ChiHack Night. This project is at the forefront of technology and sustainability, focusing on the collection and analysis of energy usage data across Chicago's commercial buildings. Our goal is to identify the most energy-efficient buildings with the lowest carbon footprints. My role involved the implementation of key software features, such as a tool for comparing the energy usage of individual buildings with the median energy consumption across the city. Additionally, I was instrumental in resolving technical issues reported by the user community, thereby enhancing the functionality and impact of this software development project.

Hackathons
